Mental Health First Aid Class
Sometimes first aid isn’t a bandage, CPR, or calling 911. Sometimes first aid is YOU.
Kendall County Health Department is offering a Mental Health First Aid Class for the community on September 21st. This no-cost interactive one-day experience has received great reviews from many attendees (now certified as ‘Mental Health First-Aiders’) who’ve appreciated developing an increased understanding of mental illness - and ways in which to recognize mental illness in others and the local resources available to help those in need. CEUs available.
