Tier 3 Mitigations for Illinois
Today Governor Pritzker announced new Tier 3 resurgence mitigations. “With COVID-19 spread now exponential in every region of the state, our statewide positivity rate at record highs and hospitalizations already surpassing our Spring peak, all 11 regions will move into Tier 3 effective Friday, November 20, 2020 at 12:01am.”
Mitigations include:
- Bars and restaurants – remain open for outdoor service, pickup & delivery
- Critical infrastructure and trades – remain open
- Grocery – remain open at 50% capacity
- Health and fitness centers – remain open at 25% capacity
- Hotels – remain open, limited to registered guests
- Manufacturing – remain open with safety guidelines
- Outdoor sports & recreation – remain open with 10 person gathering limits
- Personal care service – remain open at 25% capacity
- Pharmacy – remain open at 50% capacity
- Retail – remain open at 25% capacity
- Schools and daycare – local decision
- Banquet halls & event spaces – pause
- Cultural institutions – pause
- Gaming and casinos – pause
- Indoor fitness classes – pause
- Indoor group sports & recreational activities – pause
- Offices – should work remotely if possible
- Gatherings – limit to your household
