Coronavirus Disease Update for Kendall County

April 4, 2020

The Kendall County Health Department (KCHD) is reporting 7 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID19). Four males between the ages of 20-40s and three females between the ages of 30-50s tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019. This brings the total of Kendall County residents who had tested positive to 52.

It is natural to experience stress during such challenging times and below are a few ways that we can help to instill hope in ourselves and in one another:

  • Prioritize taking good care of oneself, health, and wellbeing
  • Show compassion to others during a time when we are all facing uncertainty
  • Do one kind thing a day for someone else – even from a distance
  • Alleviate mental fatigue by restoring and relaxing the mind
  • Leave the screen, get outdoors and enjoy nature

We may be practicing social distancing, but we are all in this together; we can each do our part to share hope and be helpful towards one another.
