The Communicable Disease Program promptly investigates communicable diseases, including food-borne illness and sexually transmitted infections. Our investigation includes monitoring for outbreaks, which can help identify public health hazards in the community. We help people access the medical care and treatment they need to prevent the spread of disease to others.
