Mental Health Treatment
The Kendall County Health Department delivers holistic mental health services and treatment designed to meet the diverse needs of children, teens, and adults. Services are strength-focused, recovery-driven, and vary in intensity depending on the individual’s need. Because each person is unique, we take an integrated approach in all service endeavors in order to best serve the person in our care.
Our clinicians consistently work to connect clients with other community agencies to best address all their needs, while providing the individual with mental health and substance abuse treatment. Our services include, but are not limited to, individual, marital, group, and family counseling. Additionally, we offer psychiatric services for medication management needs. We are able to assist in connecting individuals to financial assistance programs, health providers, employment assistance, and many more.
We are proud to provide comprehensive mental health services to Kendall County residents of all ages and economic status. Sliding scale fee options are available individuals who live, work, and/or attend school in Kendall County. We accept the following insurances:

Youth and Early Intervention Services
Our clinicians are equipped to work with students and youth who are experiencing early signs of risky behaviors related to mental health, substance use, school performance and delinquent behaviors, and many others. Counseling services are designed to promote healthy emotion, social, educational, and mental growth and development of our community’s youth. We also deliver all services in collaboration with the family and other supports as identified by the family such as school professionals.
