Evaluation Services
The Kendall County Health Department is able to complete court-ordered evaluation services for the public. We offer the following types of evaluations for both mental health and substance use needs.
Mental Health Evaluations
A comprehensive check-up assessing your emotional state, thinking, and behavior through interviews, questionnaires, and observations to help diagnose conditions and understand your overall well-being.
Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Evaluations
An interview to determine the full nature and extent of an individual's relationship to alcohol and/or other drug use. The need for treatment and intervention services may be based on evaluation.
Anger Evaluations
An interview to determine the full nature and extent of an individual's difficulties with frustration and anger. Need for anger management services and treatment may be based on evaluation.
DUI Evaluations
Used to determine risk factors associated with driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Recommendations can range from minimal risk to high risk.
DUI Response to Denial Evaluations (Coming Soon!)
Used to appeal a court’s decision not to reinstate an individual's driver’s license after an initial revocation or suspension. This step occurs after an individual has obtained an initial DUI Evaluation and completed the required recommendations.
