What are Crisis Intervention Services?
Crisis intervention services provide immediate support for individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health challenges, or safety concerns. The goal is to help stabilize the situation, reduce distress, and support safety in the moment.
Who Can Use These Services?
Crisis intervention services are available for anyone who may be experiencing:
- Suicidal thoughts or concerns about self-harm
- Severe emotional distress or feeling overwhelmed
- Mental health crises such as anxiety, depression, or panic
- Substance use–related crises
- Situations involving domestic violence, abuse, or neglect
- Concern for the safety or well-being of a loved one
Services are available for individuals, families, and concerned community members.
What Support is Provided?
Trained crisis professionals offer:
- Immediate emotional support and active listening
- Assessment of safety and immediate needs
- Short-term counseling and crisis stabilization
- Support in reducing distress and restoring a sense of safety
- Connection to ongoing mental health care and community resources
The focus is on helping individuals feel supported, safe, and connected to next steps.

Language Access: Services are available in English and Spanish. Interpretation services are available as needed.
