Dear Amaal and fellow board members,

I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you for the honor and privilege of working with you over the last few years on the Board of Health.  I have seen firsthand the board's compassion, wisdom and quality in decision making that governs this health department.  I have seen each and every individual on the board participate and provide a unique skill set and unique experiences and perspectives, that helps shape and mold the outstanding services that our health dept provides.  I have learned that all people in our community are able to receive a wide scope of services through our health department.  I have learned that when people of different backgrounds, such as our board, come together to the table, great work can be done!  I have learned that all board members are equal and are able to discern issues from their own lens, thus bringing a wealth of knowledge to the table.  I will keep all of you and the health dept in my thoughts and prayers.  I know that you are a strong team and will continue to do great work!  I have greatly enjoyed being a part of this team and I thank each of you for all your service in our community.
