Caregiver Counseling and Support

Kendall County Health Department offers a variety of services for persons who are caregivers - including relatives and non-relatives.

As a caregiver, you may be handling activities of daily living - such as preparing meals, shopping, paying bills, etc. - for a loved one. An estimated one in four households are involved in helping a senior maintain their independence and dignity through a variety of ways. 4 out of 5 caregivers are unpaid family members. Most feel stretched thin, depressed, and alone.
