Preventing Exposure While Grocery Shopping

• When possible, avoid shopping during peak hours to reduce large crowds.
• Use germicide (sanitizer) wipes or gel to wipe down carts and hands before and after use.
• Practice social distancing while shopping and standing in line, by standing at least 6ft from other shoppers.
• If possible avoid direct hand offs, use credit or debit cards, virtual payment methods or use self-check out.
• If using a grocery delivery service pay ahead of time to avoid direct hand offs.
• Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth as this provides a way for the virus to enter your body.
• HAND WASHING- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as soon as possible
