Green Pages

There are several ways to reduce the amount of waste you generate in your home that would be sent to a landfill. At a products manufacturing point or at purchasing, practicing source reduction techniques can reduce waste even further.

Recycling is also an important activity to reduce waste that ends up in a landfill, but many people do fully understand what can and cannot be recycled.

Kendall County Health Department’s Green Pages can help residents understand and take action to reduce their waste footprint. With information, tips, and helpful links, the Green Pages offer many resources about recycling, electronics recycling and disposal, household hazardous waste, and more.
